Dan Reed on printing out his thesis (among other things)

A perfect blog entry for those of us who entered the computer era about the same time, here. As an addendum, that thesis format check was also a nightmare at Michigan. One of my fellow graduate students was reduced to printing out the same page of content multiple times in the middle of the night on our advisor’s printer so that he could pass the check before completing the content.
